Going for a new look this birthday.
Finally getting jump on this weight loss thing. Boy is it hard to get motivated and stay there. But since the bridesmaid dress i ordered back in February no longer fits I guess I have no choice then to lose some weight before August 20.
So starting tomorrow i will be working out twice a day. Early morning run/stadiumswith my sister (working our way up to running 3 miles). And P90X in the evening.
In addition to working out I will be regulating my diet. Took a trip to the H Mart and got all kinds of yummy eats…Spinach, lettuce, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, cherries, nectarines, bananas, chicken, and fish. Gotta start back eating every two hours and drinking my jug of water. Here’s my intended schedule:
08:00 am: Protein Shake or Bar
10:00 am:Oatmeal or Special K and Fruit
12:00 pm: Raw Fruit or Veggie Snack
02:00 pm: Steamed Vegetable and Lean Meat or Grilled Chicken Salad
04:00 pm: Raw Fruit or Veggie Snack
06:00 pm: Soup, Salad, or Steamed Vegetable and Lean Meat
Well that’s it for tonight. Off to bed to prepare for this dreadfully early morning. I’ll be sure to let you know how my first day goes.
So after being told by my boyfriend, who’s currently in South America, that I’m looking a little chubby these days (yes, we have that type of relationship), I’ve decided that today was the day. Today I will no longer stare at the scale, acknowlegding the fact that I’m gaining (instead of losing). I will no longer retreat to my bedroom and comfy bed with my delectable treat of the hour. No longer will I complain to my best friend about how fat I am while continuing to do nothing to change it. Today marks Day 1 of my journey to lose the dreadful 25lbs I’ve yo-yoed for the past 4 years. And this time its for GOOD!
So naturally after i decided to lose this weight, I called my sister and told her she has to do it with me. Talked about how we have to keep a journal of our daily practices, because of course it’ll help us stay on track. And she suggests we do it via tumblr.
Which brings me here. I plan to document the various diet and exercise modifications that I make over the course of the next 2 months or so as I try my best to shed the weight and get back to the young lady below.
